PRP Therapy for Hair
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is a non-surgical, scientifically backed treatment for hair thinning and early-stage hair loss. A small amount of your blood is drawn, processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets (which contain growth factors like PDGF, VEGF and TGF-β), and then injected into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. These growth factors stimulate the dermal papilla cells, prolong the hair growth phase (anagen), and improve blood supply to miniaturised follicles. PRP is effective for androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss), telogen effluvium, and as a complement to hair transplant surgery.
Key Benefits
- Uses your own blood — no chemicals, no allergic reactions
- Increases hair density and thickness of existing hair
- Reduces hair shedding noticeably within 4–6 weeks
- Enhances results when combined with minoxidil or hair transplant
- Suitable for both men and women with early to moderate hair loss
